Field Notes

Description:

Little smaller than a robin.
I used the beak to differentiate it from a cowbird.
Besides this bird was foraging in the same spot as my Male Brewers blackbird spotting.

Habitat:

Foothills of mt Diablo

Okay, second picture clinches it as Brewer's Blackbird.
@ Liam , I added two more pics. Picture number 2 gives a better idea of its bill.
The bill looked too small for Brewer's Blackbird, but given that it was seen foraging among male Brewer's Blackbird, I would say it is more likely.
@ Liam , I think that this is a female brewers black bird. Euphagus Cyanocephalus
@ Liam, the difference between these spottings is very puzzling!! http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6979199
