Field Notes

Description:

piece of rotting wood turned bluish green, by some type of fungus I'm guessing but I'm not sure.

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I walked over this and almost didn't notice it and then I stopped to look. It was a green piece of wood! It was plain yet exciting at the same time. I've never seen anything like it. Foping National Nature Reserve.
