Hi 19jdawkins - you might want to reconsider your ID on this insect because I don't think Omocestus viridulus lives in your area as it appears to be a European species. Also, this looks like it might be a katydid rather than a grasshopper since it has a stream-lined green body, thin legs, and long antennae.
