Field Notes
Description:
A delicate sprawling plant about 30 cms approximately. The stems were thin with long internodes, ending in a six-petaled flower. The flowers were a creamy white with deep purple centres (could not quite catch the details in the photos).
Leaves were narrow and grass-like. This plant had a few small round smooth cream-coloured fruit pods/seed capsules.

dry sclerophyll forest
Notes:
Found growing on the side of an unused old road which is now part of the state forest. Place well lit.
This plant is native to South America but is naturalised in several other places.
