Field Notes

Habitat:

1st and only Monarch sighitng this year even though i planted quite a few milkweed plants and i did have larvae in the past. Buddleia BRING IN THE BUTTERFLIES no lie, it is a NonNative every yard should plant along with natives. The nectar sources seem to be big enough to draw in many species daily for weeks.
