Description:

“Shrubby” lichens either grow erect or are pendant, some highly branched and looking shrub-like, others are unbranched filaments. Attachment to the substrate surface varies from possessing a strong holdfast to merely being draped over a tree branch or wire. Some of these look like hanging "moss", others have upright bulbulous forms.
