In my backyard. These mushrooms seem to occur more often under ivy.

@ Clive,should'nt a spore print be done on a lab setting. With mask ,gloves and eye glasses? What if you inhale the spores?

Could you take a picture of a young specimen and one of the gills? At first look I would say Agaricus sp (campesrtris probably).
