Description:

slug in grass

Habitat:

Pacific northwest coast, just south of temperate rain forest in Olympic National Park

Notes:

spotted in campground at Pacific Beach resort; slug compacted itself into small bundle when it sensed my presence

sites I have checked online suggest the species averages 7-10 cm in length, but obviously not when it assumes the posture in the image.
