Description:

Small tan fly, wings with a pinkish hue.

Habitat:

Forest, landed on multiflora rose.

Notes:

Some larval flies in this family live in dung, while others live in plants or aquatic habitats. Adults are predacious. Found at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.
