Field Notes

Description:

A small group of rather small, bright red mushrooms, about 4 cm large. The pores are yellow and turn slightly blue when touched or bruised.

Habitat:

In the heart of the village, outside a garden.

Notes:

I was surprised to find them in summer, but then, this summer was pretty cold & very wet!
