Field Notes

Description:

This insect belongs to the Hemiptera Order, family Pentatomidae. This is immature and was found in my backyard.
They are completely green even as adults, the camouflage and the stinky odour are their most important defences against predators.

Habitat:

From central Argentina to the northern provinces. I've found them in Formosa, Salta and Jujuy.
