American bison in various poses

Habitat:

boreal-alpine biome (hopefully that habitat description isn't some sort of scientific impossibility--combining two things that are in fact mutually exclusive) in the Rocky Mountains

Notes:

part 2 of 2; spotted over a period of about 1¼ hours at various places along US 89 north of Norris junction in Yellowstone National Park
