Thanks for posting; I had no idea there was such a profusion of species of mosses until I started to try to identify this one. Good luck! Turns out there are 10 common mosses just found on the rooftops in our area (http://bryophytes.science.oregonstate.edu/page10.htm) Who knows what's there in yours!
