Description:

These cockroaches are shiny brown and oval-shaped, with no wings and a single pair of antennae. Their colors range from light brown to dark brown and they always have a black stub of a head.

Habitat:

Their preferred habitat is the floor of tropical forests, near river banks and around logs or trees; nocturnally active. They are found on every continent, including Antarctica.
