Description:

Juvenile yellow tang, 2-3 inches long, dwarfed by cauliflower coral head (Pocillopora eydouxi)

Habitat:

Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted offshore of Old Kona Airport. Original medium 35mm slide taken with Nikonos V and flash; film later scanned and image saved as digital file.
