On this website it says that there are Statilia nemoralis, Statilia maculata maculata and continentalis and Statilia apicalis in India. http://zsi.gov.in/checklist/mantodea.pdf
Do you know if there are no other species in India? There are two subspecies of Statilia maculata, Statilia maculata continentalis (lives in India) and Statilia maculata maculata (maybe lives in India I do not know).
Praying mantis Forelegs modified for grasping, and folded, wide apart eyes, carnivore.
