Awesome capture! Welcome to the community Karin! Fun fact! It isn’t just humans that enjoy a romantic massage! A male millipede gets his mate “in the mood” by walking on her back, giving her a gentle massage with his many feet. If she is receptive to his advances, the male uses specially modified legs called gonopods to transfer his spermatophore to her. In most millipede species, the gonopods replace the legs on the 7th segment, and you can identify a millipede’s gender by examining this segment. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153499807575603&set=a.10152575329380603.958289.10150120463815603&type=1
