Description:

Beautiful friendly female cardinal (around 8 inches) comes knocking at the kitchen glass door almost everyday. Sometimes it is a window. She is so beautiful and not afraid of me. When she sees me coming she flies up onto the pergola and waits for me to snap a photo. HA!

Habitat:

Woodlands/bird feeder of the Poconos

Notes:

Photo taken thru plate glass 15 -20 feet away

thank everyone! She came knocking yesterday, I peak out, She tells me get your camera. Too late. I missed the greatest opportunity at the bird feeder: male cardinal, junco, red-bellied woodpecker, downy woodpecker with some titmouse birds on the deck. BUMMER!
I love these guys! So pretty!
This is a wonderful story.. thanks for sharing! :-)
