Chickens on a family outing.

Habitat:

Pacific Northwest coastal lowland of mixed coniferous forest and agricultural land.

Notes:

Spotted at the edge of the parking area outside Dupuis Restaurant along US 101; may be feral or may be domestic, Gallus gallus domesticus.

Thanks Mauna Perhaps I spotted a mixed marriage, with hapa chicks, or perhaps the male and female just happened to be in the same area when I took the picture.
Very cute. The male on the left is definitely Gallus gallus domesticus. The hen on the right, however, is not.
