Field Notes

Description:

Flattened rounded bill, adult has a good deal of pink Because of the sun, much of the pink is reflected by the water in my pictures. Feeding fairly early in the morning. Last picture shows that some white Ibis joined them for breakfast part of the time (a difference in their bills)

Habitat:

Feeds on Marine life, Flies silently.These were found in inland ponds in Florida.

Notes:

My husband took me to Myakka Park for my Birthday and I was able to get these pictures.
