Habitat:

meadow in river valley within Pacific Northwest coniferous forest

Notes:

spotted along a trail a short distance west of the parking lot at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort in Olympic National Park; thanks to Project Noah member David Santos for the ID; some sort of invasive Cytisus

They are everywhere....have one of these in my back yard. Must admit, that the white flower variety is lovely to look at when flowering.
Thanks for the ID; just my luck to spot an invasive species! Cytisus scoparius perhaps.
