Now there's a conundrum! I will share this with the kids, they will love it. Thanks.
Despite their name, these centipedes have 21 segments and therefore usually only 42 legs. (Cent.=hundred; ped.= leg). Other species have more segments but always an odd number. Therefore it is possible for some to have 98 legs, or 102 legs but never 100. What then should we name them?
