The female one posted in the website you gave me, (Krishna Wildlife Sanctuary, Andhra Pradesh, India) looks quite similar.
Could be Calotes sp -probably C. versicolor - the common garden lizard in Asia. We used to have heaps of them in our garden in India. This one looks a little different; head seems large in relation to the body. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_garden_lizard
