Thanks Neil - this is a great site to learn new things everyday :-)
Now that is something I have never seen before, nor contemplated. I always thought sharks were born alive, not in an egg case. An amazing looking animal, and an excellent spotting, Rachael.
Fun fact! Most sharks give birth to live young, but a few mostly small sharks that live near the seafloor, lay eggs. Empty egg cases often wash up on beaches and are called mermaid’s purses. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152654670570603&set=a.10152575329380603.958289.10150120463815603&type=1 https://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/313029649288527873

Great spot! Please can you add this to the Eggs of the World mission. Welcome to Project Noah Rachael!
Ha! T When you are editing there is a little map with a little blue pin on it. You can either drag the pin around or type an address and press search.
I don't know how to change the location, this is my first post!
You didn't really find this behind Alphington Grammar school surely.
