Field Notes

Description:

The shield-shaped body looks like an UFO and that hole in the middle makes it look like a candle stand. Light brown in colour with faint scaly marks.

Habitat:

Rooftop of one of the buildings of Bon Monastery; they let us explore and there were quite a few moths on the floor/door etc.

Notes:

October is not the best time for moth-ing and it was raining too, yet I did get to photograph some moths I had not seen before
