Well ...I'll BEE...something else new i have learn't ..as i had always thought the hoverfly was like the one i posted the other day ...and here i was tonight .thinking WOW..can post this one ..checked ..yep not too many bee in the "insect of tasmania " after being blow"n away by all the different fly's and i learn bee's are not always bee's ...Thanks heaps Mark and Emilie :)
Yep fly Charlie. Bee would have longer elbowed antennae where this guy has 2 short aristae on it's face. Eristalis tenax has appeared in Vic and Tas maybe check that out.
