Thanks for the link to my website, however as Liam says, your bird is a domestic variant of Mallard, not a Mallard x Egyptian Goose hybrid. I can see why you reached the latter ID as it is superficially similar, however note the yellow bill which is a feature of male Mallards that would be unlikely to be retained in a hybrid.
@ Liam,Thanks again! There are very few documented records of these hybrids. Liam,within a 2 mile radius of my home, I have spotted 15 different kinds of Ducks and at least another 10 types of Swan and Geese!! Isn't that amazing! Thanks to you for getting me interested!
