Field Notes

Description:

Brown or black in color with a long, whip-like tail that doesn't have a stinger. They spray acetic acid (vinegar) as a defense mechanism. He looks very happy to see me, though that is his threat pose ;)

Habitat:

Found crossing the road at dusk at the base of the mountain.
