Definitely not a gray hairstreak which is an american species. I think auntnance may have it nailed http://s433.photobucket.com/albums/qq58/scarefree/?action=view&current=135-3-Everes-lacturnus-rileyi-India.jpg&mediafilter=images
Gray Hairstreaks are a New Worlds species, they are not found in Malaysia.
It's probably a gray hairsreak. I looked it up and I'm positive. I even did a picture here, and I labeled it that.
It's cycad blue. My spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7901476
It looks like a type of hairstreak butterfly. It looks similar the USA Gray Hairstreak . Maybe Red-Lined Scrub. Unsure of butterflies in your area. Very pretty!
