Field Notes

Description:

Small rodent, very fast. Brown, with black stripes and a few white stripes along its body.

Habitat:

Urban

Notes:

I was walking down some steps on campus and noticed a chipmunk watching me very carefully. I pulled out my camera and it let me get quite close--to the point that I could use my macro setting on my point and shoot camera to get some nice shots. Usually they run away, but this one must have been more chill since there weren't many people on campus.
