Tree Lizard

A common small lizard species (up to 59 mm or 2.3" from snout to vent) of the southwest. They are typically grey-brown with an ornate pattern. Adult males typically have bright blue to blue-green, colored patches on their bellies and blue-green to yellow coloration on their throat; and females tend to have yellow-green or yellow bellies. This individual has a belly with brilliant sky blue patches and a turquoise throat patch. Coloration indicates this specimen is a male.
