Description:

This snakes undercarriage and top side was completely black. Basically this snake was most likely an adult of over three years.

Habitat:

Burrows but often retreats to low bushes or low hanging tree limbs.

Notes:

This snake was found at Ft. Pickett. It was slithering into the grass as I was setting up my gear for a drill.
