Field Notes

Description:

This unusual looking bird has a long slender yellow bill and a black tail with an U in the middle on the upper side.
The second picture shows a black collar around its neck, a red tail with a black border and the lower side is speckled or mottled with brown.
The bird was a little bigger than a blue Jay.
Had a very distinct black collar.

Habitat:

Limeridge open space.
