Description:
Witch's moneybags is a perennial plant with star-shaped flowers and coarse toothed leaves. This is a short erect plant, up to 60 centimeter high. Stems are succulent and un-branched. Leaves are flat, mostly elliptical and can be either opposite or alternate, very often with course teeth. Upper leaves connect direct to the stem, lower leaves have short stalks. Pink flowers appear in compact heads, each have pointed tips and 10 stamens with reddish anthers. The flowers can also be whitish.
Habitat:
Hylotelephium telephium can be found in disturbed habitats, river floodplains, forests, meadows and fields.

Spotted in rural area of Deventer, Holland.
