Description:
Similar to moorish gecko but more slender and with adhesive pads on underside of toes not extending to tips. Eyes proportionately large and with vertical pupil.
Habitat:
Favours warm sunny areas, among stones and agave plants or in houses. Mostly nocturnal. Widespread in coastal areas across whole of Mediterranean.
Notes:
Also called the Mediterranean house gecko.
