Field Notes

Description:

This is a poppy. I edited out the background awhile ago, so I do not have the previous image. However the flower itself has not been editing. The poppy itself was about 6" wide, and about 12" tall from earth to highest stem point.

Very very beautiful.

Habitat:

Found this poppy growing on my driveway one morning. I was quite excited.

Notes:

Not sure which species of Papaveraceae.
The photo is not loading correctly on the site - however when I view it in the edit section..the colors are just fine. odd.
