Description:

70cm. The Australian Water Dragon is the only species of the genus Physignathus in Australia.

Is an arboreal agamid species native to Eastern Australia from Victoria north to Queensland, there is also a small population in the south-east coast of the State of South Australia - Wikipedia

Habitat:

As its name suggests, the Australian water dragon is associated with water and is semi-aquatic. Preys to snakes, cats, dogs and foxes - Wikipedia. This male has a scratch on his back due to a fight with another wild male. According to a person who knows him, he has 3 female friends :) and he loves to sleep in a nice swimming pool next to his creek.
