Field Notes
Notes:
This... well... critter apeared when I was photographing today. All I could see initially was a white blurr sliding fast across the leaf. Looking closely, I saw that it was a tiny insect carrying a huge (for its size) pile of debris in his back. There were all kinds of things on the pile, including some dead insects, hanging from its side. It was very hard to see the carrier bellow that filt, but it looked like a larva, flat and translucent. I never saw or heard of anything like this, and the photos aren't as good as I'd like, but I hope someone can tell me what the hell is this! And there is a video too!
