Description:
a group of fin whales, the second biggest animal on the planet, gathering to feed actively, swimming around rapidly to trap their preys, small fishes of different kinds. they also feed on krill but it being an easier prey to catch, just being carried by the stream, they don't need to form groups to hunt it, as they do for the quikly escaping fishes.
Habitat:
winter in the northern atlantic, spring through fall in the feeding area around Tadoussac in the estuary of the st-lawrence river. Little is known as to their whereabouts in the atlantic.
Notes:
most of them have a name and are easy to recognize year after year by the shape of their big dorsal fin and patterns on their backs.
