This guy was hungry and after posing in several places he threw himself at a bush after a Sardinian Warbler but failed to get it.

Most birds in Spain fly off at the sight of a camera, probably because it looks like a gun and they are regularly shot at both in Spain and France, but this one was in Portugal so probably felt safe!
Very nice! We have an american kestrel that regularly perches in the same tree down the road from us to hunt, but always takes off just as I get close enough to try for a photo - I swear he waits to see me lift my camera before taking flight! :)
