Field Notes

Description:

The wing-span is about 140mm in females and 120mm in males making it he largest butterfly commonly seen in this area. The large area of white on the wing indicates that this is a female.

Habitat:

This one was seen in southern NSW but is common throughout the East Coast of Australia
