Description:

Looks like two different butterflies...but is just the Purple Sapphire butterfly with wings folded and wings open. Stunning difference in colour.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola is a remote hilly and forested area by the River Murty. This butterfly was spotted in the garden of the resort we stayed in.
