Field Notes

Description:

Brown mottled color. Tail upturned. Face/mouth pointed, downward. Similar in appearance to a fighter jet. Approximately 2 inch wide X 1, 1/2 inch long.

Habitat:

Unsure

Notes:

Noticed it on my knee at a football game. It made no attempts to fly off. Do they sting? Stayed on my leg for about a hour. When first trying to fly off had difficulty moving it's wings but got better.
