Field Notes

Description:

Large orange coloured moth looking like a Hook-tip except the size: 80mm across. Keeps its hind side lifted to about 30 degree angle to the wall it's resting.

Notes:

Second photo is from the hind side. There was no chance of showing its front as it was keeping it sticking to the surface of the wall.
