Description:

Large 8 - 9 inch beautiful winter feather starling. First time at the bird feeder.

Habitat:

Woodlands/bird feeder in the Poconos

Notes:

I respect anyone who can take really great bird photos. Very difficult!

Wow! - these birds are seen as pests around here but I've always admired their colours - what beautiful plumage ! You've done a great job capturing their beauty Carol. I don't think I'll ever get to photograph birds this well...well done !

Many years ago you could find a lot of them home in Germany in big groups, but here in Hungary I never saw one. Nice pics. Remember me on my childhood. :-)
