Field Notes

Description:

A small, black spider with lots of white color-stripes on its body, as well as a small amount of yellow and red highlights - this Orchard Spider had a much more prevalent red marking at the tip of it's body than another I found nearby.

Habitat:

A lush yard near Lake Killarney in central Florida. The trees are tall, bushes thick and plants well-watered. It's a very friendly place for flora and fauna.
