Wildlife Spotting

Hi Rebecca It looks very much like a Swimming Anemone, also known as a Brain Anemone. Kerryn Wood (Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre, Eden, NSW)

I assume this is in a jelly-like mass. I would guess it's eggs of some mollusk like a nudibranch. Check this spotting that may be related. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8361533
