And, yes, this is the indigenous Phylodactylus. Another Gecko, Gonatodes caudisculatus, has been introduced accidentally some time ago and has spread, but, so far, does not seem to push the idigenous geckos out. Let's hope for tehr best.

Hi Lauren. Yes, they do chirp. Difficult to get used to at first while trying to get to sleep!
