Description:

The White Rhinoceros or Square-lipped rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) is one of the five species of rhinoceros that still exist. It has a wide mouth used for grazing and is the most social of all rhino species.

Rhino pregnancies last 15 – 16 months! That’s amazing! Consider, however, that a female elephant will carry a fetus for close to two years! Camels and giraffes have gestation periods lasting 13 to 14 months, while female horses, sea lions and dolphins can require up to a year to give birth.

My pleasure. It is very easy to confuse them...just remember, Black has hook lip, white has flat, broad mouth.
Great spotting Andhi! The birds on the rhino are red-billed oxpeckers (Buphagus erythrorhynchus).
