Noctuid Moth

Large Noctuid Moth, 3 cm long and brightly colored, especially from the front. The hind wings however were grey. When touched, it dropped to the ground and flopped about like an injured bird. Most moths have some kind of "Panacho" (a cool word in spanish used for the large feather headdresses of the Aztec Kings) and this moth has a really wonderful Panacho! When I put him on his back, he just stayed there (last picture) until I turned him back over.
